For my duties this is a purely comfortable boot. It doesn't have the weight of other boots and this certainly helps when being a patrol officer getting in and out of vehicles quickly and being able to chase after suspects. And believe me they run! I find the comfort like a trainer and I use the magnum insoles for that extra protection so the boot feels even more comfortable, and offers me added protection if I need to jump down from a height. It's well built and designed gripping my ankle and never had any problems with eyelets and the boots do up quickly and easily. They also look very smart when on active duty. These are perfect all round boots and I would recommend them time and time again.
