Orizaba's Peak Survey

Last week (June 21st to june 26th-2010) I went to Orizaba?s Peak to start with a survey for a Bi-national project over there, the terrain and the weather is hard, could be sunny and then it changes to a heavy rainy weather so you need to wear a shoe or boot that keeps your feet dry. Tough Boots For A Tough Job

I work in TV as a cameraman, not such a hard job you might think but I am often in some inhospitable places, one day I could be filming with the military, walking for miles over rough terrain and the next filming an interview with a celebrity at a an exciting venue. And so it begins ... Elite Force 8.0 wpi

Today I was delighted and honoured to take delivery of a pair of Magnum Elite Force 8.0 wpi boots and you can see my unboxing and comments about them using the link to my images below.
The boots are beautifully constructed and as one would predict and expect from Magnum, very light compared to comparable footwear. They are immaculate, not a mark or manufacturing defect anywhere, it seems a shame to mess them up by wearing them, they're near art!

Why I Love My Mags!

As a full time Firefighter and Paramedic, my boots get a good bashing on a daily basis! unfortunately, i am issued with cheap wannabe Magnum boots.They look like Mags, kinda feel a little like Mags,but they most definitely are NOT Mags!l As soon as my annual issue arrives, these imitations are thrown into the depths of my locker, never to see the light of day again.My shifts on the Ambulance are when my Magnums really prove their worth.
